Regulus feels: bouncy

It is so nice being here, because I think this Christmas will be the nicest one so far, with so much of my family back here. I hope I get to see them all at the Headmaster's party.

Also, I've found a job! I've been named Gellert Grindelwald's bard. I'm not entirely sure everything you have to do to be a bard, but I like writing poetry, so that should be fun.

...Does anyone know what all that business about the fireworks was?

Well, since getting this journal, I feel connected again—which is great, since there were so many people I missed. I still haven't found a job yet, which might be because I suppose I'm not accustomed to knowing how to find a job or even what you do when you get one. Well, besides showing up and working, anyway. I just feel so...idle here.

{Private to Severus}

Would you have time to meet somewhere for tea? Or lunch, maybe? I'd really like to see you again.

I heard that Cissa is here now. Maybe soon the whole family will be here.

Nov. 24th, 2007 @ 05:55 am A New Journal
location: Living Room
Regulus feels: curious

Regulus Arcturus Black.

I read somewhere that everyone tests a new quill by writing their name. I used to always doodle or compose a poem, but every since I read that I've always tested a new quill by writing my name. Odd, that. I'm not testing a new quill, but a new journal. I've never had a journal just appear like this. Sometimes parchment, but never a journal.

There's something about this journal that I can't explain. There's a lot I can't explain about this life, though, just that something about this book stands out. There is something odd about the pages themselves, I think.

Or maybe I used to conjugate verbs. I used to do a lot of things in new journals until I read about the names.

Amo, amas, amat, amamus, amatis, amant. . .

Perhaps I should have used a new quill in this new journal. There's a poetry to that.
